Fogstar Drift 48-125 battery

The Fogstar Drift 48-125 battery is a very high quality rechargeable LiFePO4 48V lithium battery, rated at 125Ah with a capacity of 6.4kWh (6400Wh).

It’s constructed using premium grade A EVE cells, with an integrated 150A BMS, housed in a tough plastic casing with IP67 waterproof rating.

It is an ideal power source for 48V electric outboards and POD drives. Unlike many rivals the Fogstar Drift 48-125 battery has built-in heating (for cold weather charging) and Bluetooth communication of all data to a free app on your smartphone. It’s also compatible with most of the regularly seen charging systems – mains and MPPT solar – from manufacturers such as Victron.

These batteries can be wired in parallel, up to 16 in total, for a potential total bank capacity of over 100kWh.

It is much cheaper, on a price per Wh basis, than 48V LiFePO4 rivals from ePropulsion, Torqeedo, Rolls, Victron and Electric Outboard.
