Versatile Application

It’s easy to fit, with two standard adapters included for the most popular fin (skeg) boxes – including those supplied with the Aquaglide Chelan and KXOne Slider inflatable kayaks, and Spinera inflatable SUPs, that we sell. For those without a fin box, there is also a “universal adapter” that straps right around the whole hull

Small but Mighty

This 300wh lithium-ion battery weighs only 2.5kg, having an energy density as high as 120wh/kg. Besides, the battery is so small that it can even be placed on your palm without much effort. Small and light though, it supports 1.15 hour operation at full-speed of around 8km/h, redefining what is “small but mighty”.

Wearable Remote Controller

The wireless remote controller enables stepless forward speed control and emergency stop. Push forward the throttle slide block to speed up smoothly or press the on/off button to stop the motor at once in emergency. The watch-like controller can be worn on wrist, attached to a paddle or just hold by hand for easy access.

Not Just the Lazy Option

Whilst sheer laziness is one reason to fit a Vaquita… you can also look at it as a means to do more with your kayak or SUP. For example we have customers whose garden backs onto a river, but the flow is too fast to paddle their kayak against… so they use motor assistance going upriver, then paddle only for the return leg downstream. You could also view it as a safety aid when going on longer journeys, knowing that the return range of a Vaquita, in the event of injury or fatigue for example, is far more than most people are likely to have paddled to start with.

And kayak fishermen love the fact they can have their forward motion taken care of by the motor – all they have to do is steer, and that gives them more ability to concentrate on the fish.
