Aquaglide Chelan 155 Kayak Only (inc seats, bag, fin etc) – IN STOCK, FREE FAST UK DELIVERY!

Aquaglide Chelan 155 is a roomy and versatile 15ft inflatable kayak, with plenty of leg space even for a very tall couple. And/or if you wish a child, dog, picnic basket etc in the middle, using (or not) the included third seat (which is a simple “saddle” seat, unlike the other two). Don’t underestimate this point about space, some cheaper inflatable 2-3 person kayaks are 5 feet shorter (where do your legs go?)!

The two main seats supplied with the Aquaglide Chelan 155 are top-of-the-range, full-size and fully-adjustable Proformance seats. These are particularly comfortable, with very good supportive backrests and a fabric-covered foam-padded base with an inflatable section underneath it so you can vary your seated height. This is important because many people find their legs and/or lower backs don’t like most kayak seats, where you sit flat or nearly flat to the floor.

And talking of the floor, this is made from high-pressure dropstitch material, which makes the whole boat much stiffer than your typical inflatable… in layman’s terms it doesn’t sag like a banana in the middle. Either side of that floor the Aquaglide Chelan 155 tubes are made from very tough multi-layer bonded reinforced Duratex material, which again can be inflated to higher pressures than typical, and is very durable and easy to dry out (water can’t get between the layers, so it doesn’t go mouldy!).

As with so many things in life, in inflatable kayaks you largely get what you pay for, and as such the Aquaglide Chelan 155 is a very nice piece of kit with many useful features included that you’ll grow to love: splash guards, endless attachment points, we’ll say again (it deserves a second mention!) very comfortable seats, nice spacious storage bag with backpack straps, “proper” Halkey-Roberts inflation valves, etc. There are definitely cheaper options but if you want a comfortable, stable, durable inflatable kayak the Chelan 155 should be very high on your list, this is the gold standard!
