This optional dropstitch inflatable floor for Carbon Pro 365 is designed to be used instead of the standard aluminium floorboards. The benefits are a weight saving of about 20kg, and quicker/easier installation. Whilst it doesn’t have quite the same stiffness as the aluminium floorboards, it’s still very good with little if any performance compromise.
Installation is a breeze. Simply position the floor, ensuring it’s tucked securely into the boat’s edges with the Halkey Roberts valve aligned in the pre-cut hole. Inflate the floor to 8–9 psi (0.6 bar) and the keel to 3.5 psi using a suitable high-pressure pump, and you’re ready to enjoy the water.
We can imagine you’d use the dropstitch inflatable floor for Carbon Pro 365 when going out for shorter trips where you have to assemble and dismantle the boat on the same day. You’d still use the aluminium floor on occasions when you were going to leave the boat set up for longer periods.
