The Air-V 270 is second up in the range, and at just about 9ft a very good compromise between portability and capacity. It’s popular as a yacht tender and often paired with a small portable electric outboard such as the ePropulsion eLite or Spirit PLUS. Amazingly it’s also rated for anything up to a 10hp petrol outboard (we think that might be quite fast!) and if that’s the way you’d like to go – petrol still wins if you want a lot of speed or range or both – we highly recommend the Tohatsu range.
