Devon School of Navigation
Devon-based maritime education institute offering tuition at all levels of the RYA (Royal Yachting Association) shore-based syllabus, from Day Skipper to Oceanmaster, plus on-your-own-boat practical training. The proprietors introduced Nestaway Boats’ Managing Director (their son) to boating, at the tender age of two weeks!
Boat Building Academy
The production prototype for our two-part nestable pram dinghy was designed and built at the Boat Building Academy in Lyme Regis. They offer a range of courses, from one week “tasters” in subjects such as spar making and boat restoration, to the City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Boatbuilding, taking 38 weeks.
